About the Art
My art is a piano piece inspired by black pianists from the early 20th century such as Jelly roll Morton, Scott Joplin, and Louis Chauvin. Like some of their pieces mine is played in ragtime.

About the Artist
I'm D'Viek Washington, a member of the Duwamish and Nooksack tribes. I'm a pianist who has been playing for only 3 years. I have played at N. A. Y. L. A. or Native American Youth Leadership Academy, KNKX, and a few school performances.
