Join us for a fun-filled outdoor event packed with activities for all ages—art, music, food, family games, and community connection—as we raise vital funds to support yəhaw̓ Indigenous Creatives Collective’s ongoing work. This event centers around the principles of rematriation and reciprocity—values at the core of our mission to nurture land, culture, and community through art and collective stewardship.
As one visitor, Alanna Peterson, shared, “Everything about yəhaw̓ is a study in reciprocity, and I am beyond grateful to the collective for stewarding this beautiful creation.” Their words remind us of the deep importance of giving, receiving, and mutually supporting each other and the land we all share. And you can help us with that mission by joining us at our annual fundraiser event!
About yəhaw̓ Indigenous Creatives Collective:
yəhaw̓ is an intertribal Indigenous arts organization rematriating 1.5 acres of land in South Seattle, on Coast Salish territory. Our mission is to elevate Indigenous well-being through art, community building, and equitable opportunities for artists. We provide exhibitions, residencies, performances, grants, and community-led projects—centering women, Two Spirit, and youth voices. Our work fosters cultural connections, supports artistic growth, and promotes land stewardship for future generations.
Your support at this fundraiser will help us:
Maintain and care for our land through planting, creek restoration, and future acquisition
Upgrade community spaces and expand programs
Fund artist grants, residencies, and professional development
Build larger projects like greenhouses and land expansion, ensuring long-term sustainability
